Last Day of March, Last Pages of Sketchbook!

31 March 2018

I woke up at 4:30 AM due to a coughing fit, so I rolled out of bed, went to the living room to calm my fit and pulled out the Pilot Custom 823 with Noodler’s Bulletproof Black to sketch the sidewalk across the street.

It is frustrating that Noodler’s Bulletproof Black often runs when watercolor is added. After this sketch I flushed out the pen, and loaded it with Carbon Black.

This afternoon I looked towards Broadway from the bedroom window at the sidewalk where I saw a conversation in front of a group of storefront mannequins. I quickly pulled out my Pelikan 400NN loaded with Platinum Carbon Black, scratched in some lines, and put down a couple of light washes of watercolor.

This is the last page in the Pentalic 6X4 70lb. hardcover sketchbook. The other side of this sketch is blank, so I may add something later, but it is the last of the 110 sheets/220 page book.

Here’s the actual back page of the finished sketchbook. I sketched this on a coffee run at Cafe Adagio at Broadway between 96 and 97. 400NN, Carbon Black:

Next is a snapshot of a woman who seemed to be struggling with her phone:

Thank you so much for visiting!

See you later!!
