The Goings On Outside: 8 February 2018 and a Wet Jade Sketch

8 February 2018

Hello everybody!

I’m feeling a little bit recovered from my ‘flu-like’  symptoms, and I’m preparing for school.

One of the ways that I prepare is by trying to make a sketch of something, and I noticed that I hadn’t sketched any of my Jade plants in a while.

As I was doing this, there was some screaming and yelling outside, which is not unusual, so I quickly snapped a pic of the wet sketch and looked outside to see what the commotion was:

It was simply a man on his cellphone, right where the phone booth used to be, smoking and shouting expletives. As usual, as soon as I start drawing this angry fellow, he goes away.

The Jade was sketched with the Pilot Custom Heritage 92 with a fine nib and Platinum Pigmented Sepia Ink, Daniel Smith and Winsor & Newton Watercolors.

Not much else to report this morning. I’ll be going to school soon, so there may be some subway sketches coming up!

Until then, thank you for stopping by and see you later!!!
